Jay Quinn Model
Jay's roots with New Wave go right back to when he was an emerging grom and had a few National junior titles under his belt.
When developing the Jay Quinn model with shaper Ralph Blake, the aim was to develop a board that would suit a wide range of conditions that still allowed for Jay's dynamic style of surfing and is a board that suits surfers who wants to take their surfing to the next level. An important aspect of developing the right board for a performance surfer is the feedback and dialogue with your shaper to get the right fit ( and a fair bit of product testing!). Over the past year Ralph has been working with Jay, trialling many different shapes, this design is his go to board!
Features: With a moderate rocker that is complemented by a full concave, this board enables you to generate quick acceleration and drive that you are looking for. A rounded pin tail allows smooth rail to rail surfing and precision turning. The JQ model will take your surfing to the next level. Ridden as a thruster set up this model can be scaled from 5'0 - 6'2"
